<itunes:summary>Economy, increased accuracy, and performance are common motivations for handloading cartridges. Reloading fired cases can save the shooter money, or provides the shooter with more, and higher quality, ammunition for a given budget. Reloading may not be cost effective for occasional shooters, as it takes time to recoup the cost of the required equipment, but those who shoot on a regular basis will see benefit.</itunes:summary>

The book is geared towards handgun loads and for most of us that’s where were trying to save money because of the volume that a lot of us shoot from our modern semi automatic handguns.

Mr. Sweeney has some very good information that you could almost consider tips from experienced reloader. Things that are very valuable to someone who is just starting out. There is also a section on each of several very popular handgun cartridges with a little history and load workup about each one. I found the sections my favorite part of the book because I could pick and choose which information I wanted to read depending on the calibers that I load.

Jim Fleming, a long time listener, and a long time contributor to Reloading Radio, and a long time Reloader, Bullet Caster, and a Bullet Swager, gives Podcasting a try. Pretty technical stuff for a guy that works with his hands. In the episode, Jim starts at the beginning of Reloading, with a bit of discussion about safety first, safety last, and safety always in Reloading.

Hope y’all enjoy!

I wanted to see if i was going to to be spending more money reloading target shot shells than what i could buy factory ammo. now don’t say that i will defiantly save money if i reloaded for high end ammo over buying that. cause i already know that and i don’t buy that expensive stuff other than self defense ammo and i will still buy self defense ammo over reloading it. and i don’t shoot expensive ammo when i go to the range to just put lead down range. so i wanted to see if i could load what i shoot the most which is Winchester AA light target loads. so i found some load data. and plug in all the data in this user easy calculator and press calculate, and that’s it. The software handles everything else which is sweet. oh and check out the youtube channel reloading radio at this time there is no videos but there might be by the time you read this.
