In this episode, we have a newcomer to Podcasting…
Jim Fleming, a long time listener, and a long time contributor to Reloading Radio, and a long time Reloader, Bullet Caster, and a Bullet Swager, gives Podcasting a try. Pretty technical stuff for a guy that works with his hands. In the episode, Jim starts at the beginning of Reloading, with a bit of discussion about safety first, safety last, and safety always in Reloading.
Reloading Radio has its own channel on youtube.com and i’m excited about it and have a lot of plans for the new channel. so you want to have a video on the reloading radio channel and it pertains to reloading then let me know at email@example.com
I wanted to see if i was going to to be spending more money reloading target shot shells than what i could buy factory ammo. now don’t say that i will defiantly save money if i reloaded for high end ammo over buying that. cause i already know that and i don’t buy that expensive stuff other than self defense ammo and i will still buy self defense ammo over reloading it. and i don’t shoot expensive ammo when i go to the range to just put lead down range. so i wanted to see if i could load what i shoot the most which is Winchester AA light target loads. so i found some load data. and plug in all the data in this user easy calculator and press calculate, and that’s it. The software handles everything else which is sweet. oh and check out the youtube channel reloading radio at this time there is no videos but there might be by the time you read this.
This is the first show about me starting to reload shotshell. I talk about the basics, and what equipment. that i’m going to start off with. and i must say the 5th lymans shotshell manual is pack full of all kinds of great stuff for new shotshell reloaders
In this show i talk about “O”, “C”, “H” type press and why they are called that. i also go over single stage, turret, progressive presses. discuss the manufactures of presses. and I also found out that i’m a “Dillion fan boy”.
